Advanced Exosome Therapy

Next-Generation Skin Regeneration at the Cellular Level
Exosome Therapy is one of the most advanced skin regeneration treatments available today. Exosomes are nano-sized extracellular vesicles derived from stem cells that carry regenerative signals — growth factors, proteins, and genetic material — directly into skin cells. Applied topically post-procedure or via micro-injection, they trigger deep repair, accelerate healing, and significantly enhance skin rejuvenation.

What is Advanced Exosome Therapy?

Exosomes are tiny vesicles (40–150nm) naturally secreted by cells to communicate with one another. When derived from stem cells (such as plant stem cells or human adipose-derived stem cells), they carry powerful regenerative cargo: growth factors (EGF, VEGF, FGF), micro-RNA, proteins, and anti-inflammatory cytokines. When delivered into the skin — either through microneedling channels, electroporation, or direct injection — exosomes are taken up by skin cells and transmit their regenerative signals. This stimulates fibroblast activity (collagen production), accelerates cellular turnover, and calms inflammation. The result is measurably improved skin quality, texture, and resilience — particularly effective when combined with microneedling, laser, or as a standalone skin regeneration protocol. At Ivy Clinics, we use clinically validated, exosome products for both skin and scalp applications.
What It Treats?
  • Accelerated post-procedure healing (post-laser, post-peel)
  • Skin ageing and collagen depletion
  • Hair follicle miniaturisation and hair thinning
  • Dull, tired, or damaged skin
  • Deep acne scars and textural irregularities
  • Neck laxity and “tech neck” lines
  • Skin inflammation and chronic redness
Targeted Areas
  • Full face (rejuvenation and anti-ageing)
  • Under-eye area (for dark circles and hollows)
  • Scalp (for hair regeneration — Exosomes for hair loss)
  • Neck and décolletage
  • Post-laser or post-peel treated areas

Why Choose This Treatment?

  • Works at the cellular level — more targeted than traditional growth factor treatments
  • Accelerates post-procedure recovery when used after lasers, peels, or microneedling
  • Stimulates collagen and elastin with no foreign substances introduced
  • Anti-inflammatory properties reduce redness and calm reactive skin
  • Cutting-edge treatment — clinically validated with strong emerging evidence

Treatment Process at The IVY Clinics

Consultation & Goal Assessment

Your dermatologist evaluates whether exosomes are recommended as a standalone treatment or as an enhancement to another procedure (e.g. post-microneedling or post-laser).

kin Preparation

The skin is cleansed and prepared. If exosomes are being delivered via microneedling channels, the microneedling procedure is performed first.

Exosome Application / Delivery

Exosomes are applied as a serum into open microchannels (post-needling) or delivered via electroporation or micro-injection for direct dermal absorption.

Absorption & Sealing

The skin is allowed to absorb the exosome preparation fully. A soothing, protective layer is applied to complete the session.

Review & Follow-Up

A follow-up session is usually recommended 3–4 weeks later to assess response and continue the regeneration cycle.

The Advanced Exosome Therapy Procedure at Ivy Clinics

Ivy Clinics uses clinically certified, stem-cell-derived exosome formulations for both skin rejuvenation and scalp regeneration. Our dermatologist will assess whether exosomes are best delivered via microneedling integration, electroporation, or injection. Post-procedure exosome application is also offered as an add-on to laser and peel treatments to accelerate healing and enhance outcomes. All products are cold-stored and handled per clinical protocols.

Is It Safe?

Yes. Exosomes are biocompatible — they are derived from natural cellular processes and do not introduce foreign synthetic chemicals into the body. They carry no live cells, significantly reducing any risk of immune reaction. Studies to date show an excellent safety profile with no major adverse events reported. As with all injectable or post-procedure treatments, they are performed in a sterile clinical environment under dermatologist supervision at Ivy Clinics.

How to Prepare for Your Session

  • No specific preparation required for topical exosome application
  • If combined with microneedling, follow the microneedling preparation protocol (avoid retinoids, active serums, sun exposure for 5–7 days prior)
  • Arrive with clean skin on the day of treatment
  • Inform your doctor of any recent illness or active skin infections

Precautions

  • Avoid touching or washing the face for at least 6 hours post-treatment
  • Do not apply active serums (retinoids, AHAs, vitamin C) for 48 hours post-session
  • Apply SPF 50 diligently for at least 2 weeks post-treatment
  • Avoid heat exposure, saunas, and steam for 48 hours

What to Expect After Treatment

Most patients experience minimal to no downtime. The skin may appear slightly pink immediately after (particularly if combined with microneedling) but this settles within 24 hours. The regenerative effect of exosomes is progressive — improvements in skin tone, texture, and radiance develop over 4–8 weeks as the cellular repair and collagen stimulation process unfolds. When used post-laser or post-peel, patients often notice significantly faster healing and better final results compared to standard recovery.
